I'm putting the factory reset on the very very bottom of my list of things to try. But now I've tried it at least 10 times (which I hope isn't just breaking it more) and it still hasn't turned on. I've had the problem before, actually, however all the other times I could restart it once or twice and it'd boot up again perfectly fine. Since then, it's been having this problem. For some reason, it died/turned off in between me unplugging it from the wall and going to plug it into the iHome. This problem started when I plugged in my iPod to my iHome radio with my charger cord.
It's a little dumb of me, I'll admit, however I thought I had backed up my stuff. I do not have any backups and I'm terrified of losing all of my data, as I have important pictures and other data. I've tried pretty much all there is on this problem, from simply restarting the iPod to trying iTunes with DFU mode.
